Applications and Principle

Additionally, other industries are also significantly affected by static electricity, such as telecommunications, plastics, and explosive materials.

Static voltages as low as 100V can damage electrostatic sensitive components.
Static voltages exceeding 10,000V can harm the human body, clothing, materials, and equipment.
Static voltages above 3,000V can generate electrostatic sparks, and in hazardous areas, static electricity can even cause fires.

The EFM 115 is an easy-to-use electrostatic field monitor. Compact in size, it connects directly to a computer for operation and can be paired with the MK11 probe to monitor electrostatic voltage.
Software selects detection distance:
Pre-select the detection distance based on the required range; the software automatically converts field strength to voltage based on the distance.
